Definition

A rate card is a list that contains the prices and descriptions of a service.

"Rate card" is commonly used in the advertising, publication, and media industry, a document that has their prices for ad placement and placement options. The prices in a rate card may be a flat fee or cost per thousand impressions (CPM) basis (which means the cost per 1,000 ad impressions). However, some sales representatives may offer special prices or discounts.

Generally, rate cards can be used by any business to present their prices to their clients better.
