Job Overview
KDCI Outsourcing is seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist with a strong background in bookkeeping, particularly with exposure to Yardi software. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payables, conducting common area maintenance reconciliation, and handling other traditional bookkeeping tasks. The Accounting Specialist will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall accounting function of the company.
Responsibilities
· Process payables accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
· Conduct reconciliation of common area maintenance expenses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
· Utilize Yardi software to maintain financial records, reconcile accounts, and generate reports as needed.
· Assist in month-end close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
· Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information and resolve discrepancies.
· Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide insights into business performance.
· Assist with audits and tax filings by providing accurate financial data and supporting documentation.
· Perform other traditional bookkeeping tasks such as maintaining general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
· Stay updated on industry best practices and changes in accounting regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial reporting.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
· 2+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles.
· Knowledge and Proficiency in Yardi software is a must.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
· Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
· Experience with common area maintenance reconciliation is a plus.
